The second Clan Battle event was a Beta used to gauge player strength and participation. A few bosses were changed from the first Beta and the "second lap difficulty increase" mechanic was introduced.
The second Clan Battle caught many players who relied on JP/CN recommendations off-guard due to the significant difference in available equipment. Combined with the second lap difficulty spikes for the bosses, scores were overall much lower than the first Beta. Overall, a successful but much more difficult CB Beta.

When executed perfectly, some Clan members will be able to effectively use 6 CB Attempts worth of time per day (540 seconds vs. 270 seconds).
When coordinated CB Attempts, in most cases having the highest damage dealt player exit the instance first will be correct.
Basic Carryover Time: a player fights the boss and defeats it within 90 seconds. They receive "90 – (Time Used) + 10 seconds".
Overkill Carryover Time: Players A and B both battle the boss at the same time. Player A completes their CB Attempt but does not defeat the boss. Player B completes the CB Attempt for the full 90 seconds and their damage is more than the boss’s now Official Remaining HP due to Player A's CB Attempt. Player B will receive "[1 - (Official Remaining HP at Current Time) / (Damage Dealt)] * 90 + 10 seconds".
Overkill Carryover Time, but sub-90 Seconds: Players A and B both battle the boss at the same time. Player A completes their CB Attempt but does not defeat the boss. Player B completes the CB Attempt but does not use the full 90 seconds (i.e. they would have defeated the boss regardless), and naturally, their damage is more than the boss’s now Official Remaining HP due to Player A's CB Attempt. The player will receive "[ (Time Used) / 90 - (Official Remaining HP at Current Time) / (Damage Dealt) ] * 90 + 10 seconds" to use on another boss.
