Grotto Double Drop Campaign 4

Grotto Double Drop Campaign 4

During the event dates, all regular drops obtained from Grotto quests are doubled. This includes the essential drops of Mana, EXP Potions, as well as Rupies. Skip Ticket drops are not impacted. First-time rewards (i.e. the Free Jewels) do not count towards this bonus. If you're using or purchase the +3 Grotto Attempt Microtransaction you will get 10 EXP and 10 Mana quests worth of rewards per day of the event. Even without the +3 microtransaction, it's still a great time to get some extra Mana and EXP!

This is the third instance of the Grotto Double Drop Campaign for Priconne Global.

Focus Gacha: Illya!

Focus Gacha: Illya!

Illya is the newest character available in Priconne Global. The "Ruler of the Night" who will immediately start shaking up the PVP meta for the nearfuture. Her constant high single-target and group magic damage will start a period of magic dominance in the Arenas. Additionally, as a high magic damage DPS, she signals the proper start to Clan Battle magic-based teams.

However, Illya destructive skills come at a significant cost to her own health. Using her Skill 1 and Skill 2 will rapidly deplete both her own HP reserves, which means players will want to party her other characters that can either boost her offensive capabilities (e.g. Saren or Akari); defend her from the Front (e.g. Nozomi or Kuka); or a combination of both (e.g. Yukari or Shizuru). Unfortunately, the high health costs from her own skills will cause Illya to self-destruct very quickly at lower Ascension levels. She is a character that many will recommend to bring to 5* as the additional stats will help mitigate this drawback while increasing her damage output, a win-win! If kept at lower Ascension levels, there are ways of mitigating her HP loss through strategic party planning.

Illya is only available through the Gacha at this time and her Character Shards will be available as a Hard Mode Drop in the future. As a 3* character who can offer a lot of damage and utility to many magic parties, it is recommended to recruit her now if possible.

Vampire Hunters with Illya

Vampire Hunters with Illya

Note: this write-up was written using an account at Level 93 with all Main Story nodes cleared. As an event might scale with progression, this can be assumed to be the hardest difficulty of the event content.

"Vampire Hunters with Illya" is Priconne Global's third major event featuring new story content and quests revolving around Illya, Kaori, and Maho! During the event, players will complete quests to farm equipment and Character Memory Shards for Kaori and Maho (not Illya herself, unfortunately).

This is a great opportunity to farm Character Shards to ascend Kaori and Maho. Kaori is a key character for Clan Battle and being able to Ascend her base form from 2* to 3*+ will greatly improve a player's damage in Clan Battle. Maho continues to be a relevant and reliable single-target Healer and general Support who can assist many newer players with PVE content. With Maho being a relatively easy recruit from the Dungeon Shop, this is a great chance to Ascend her from 3* to 4*+.

However, unlike the previous major event, Hatsune's Perfect Present, this event does not allow players to farm the latest Rank 9 tier of equipment from its drop tables. Therefore, unless a player needs to farm Rank 8 or below equipment, it is recommended to only farm the Hard Mode Maps for Maho and Kaori Shards after initially clearing the event maps.

As with the previous events, players should draw from each Reward Box the rewards they want (Character Shards, Jewels, and Divine Amulets for me), then reset the Box, and collect the rewards again. Boxes 3 and 4 will offer the most value for Victory Medals and are recommended to exhaust

The hard version of the boss can be somewhat difficult as it uses a combination of both HP percentage attacks as well as large group damage attacks, which can quickly wipe up underleveled or weaker parties. The attack that deals about 45% of a character's maximum health and is used around the one-minute mark. The boss features other mechanics such as a group Stun on the healthiest character and a rage mechanic once it is below 50% HP.

Jump Start Login Bonus

The Jump Start Login Bonus is a set collection of rewards that players can collect over their first few weeks of playing Priconne. It is similar to rewards given in other mobile gacha games for first time players. Players can retrieve their rewards from the Presents Box and there does not seem to be a time limit on reward collection.

Dungeon Mana Double Drop Campaign 3

During the event dates, all Mana received from a Dungeon game mode attempt will be doubled. This will stack with the purchase of a Daily Jewel Pack's 2x Dungeon drop effect, meaning a player can easily rack of millions of extra Mana per day with both bonuses.

Hard Quest Double Drop Campaign 2

During the event dates, drops such as Character Memory Shards, Mana, and equipment obtained from clearing Hard Stages will be doubled in quantity. This bonus does not apply to Player EXP, Character EXP, Bond Level EXP, Skip Bonuses, or one-time rewards like Jewels.

Refreshing Hard Mode Attempts and Stamina might be beneficial for players looking to maximize their Shard or equipment piece farming during this time, but will be very expensive in terms of Jewels while only saving the player some time.

Focus Gacha: Misato!

Misato is the newest character available in Priconne Global. A "beloved teacher" who can supports her party with two healing skills and a substancial Magic Attack buff. While she is unable to deal meaningful damage on her own, her ability to boost the power of magic-based parties can make her a great party member in both PVE and PVP.

Misato starts battle by casting her Magic Attack buff and her Heal Over Time, allowing her to enable upfront magic damage party members such as Kyoka and Anna while helping protect them by healing the party's tank. As a 2* character, she will see decent usage for players as they round out their magic damage parties.

Misato is only available through the Gacha at this time and is expected to be available as part of the overall Gacha pool permanently after her banner. In the future, Misato's Character Shards will be available as a Dungeon Shop purchase. As a 2* character, she will be an easy recruitment even after her banner ends, so pulling for her now is not necessary.

Little Lyrical Adventures

Note: this write-up was written using an account at Level 88 with all Main Story nodes cleared. As events scale with progression, this can be assumed to be the hardest difficulty of the even content.

"Little Lyrical Adventures" is Priconne Global's second major event featuring new story content and quests revolving the antics of Kyoka, Mimi, and Misogi! During the event, players will complete quests similar to a Main Story Quest map that will allow them to farm equipment and Character Memory Shards for Mimi and Misogi (not Kyoka).

This is a great opportunity to farm Character Shards to ascend Mimi and Misogi if a player is looking to increase the Power of their roster. Mimi is a great character that can deal surprisingly high amounts of Physical Damage and is a decent pick for Clan Battle parties. Misogi can offer some situational utility in PvP with her Blind and Buffs/Debuffs.

However, unlike the previous major event, Hatsune's Perfect Present, this event does not allow players to farm the latest Rank 8 tier of equipment from its drop tables. This means that players will have to make a decision on their Stamina usage during this event once they have finished farming the event's daily Hard Stage attempts. Farming a normal event stage will allow for more boss attempts but farming the recently released Map 10 may be a more beneficial usage of Stamina for players looking to Rank 8 their roster.

I personally recommend farming the Hard Stages daily but not using extra Stamina on farming the Normal Stages unless a player is specifically looking to farm Rank 7 equipment pieces. Stamina would be better used on farming Map 10 to empower characters to Rank 8.

The overall approach to this event is straightforward, exhaust each Reward Box of the rewards you want (Character Shards, Jewels, and Divine Amulets for me) and then reset the Box and collect the rewards again.

The hard version of the boss is deceptively hard unless a party is unable to defeat it after it uses its HP-based party-wide magic attack. The attack that deals about 60% of a character's maximum health and is used around the 0m58 mark. Using characters like Yukari or characters that have significant Magic Defense can help mitigate this damage but the damage itself will scale to a character's maximum HP. Fortunately, the boss' other attacks are relatively weak. The boss features other mechanics such as a targeted Stun on the healthiest character and a rage mechanic once it's below 50% HP.

Focus Gacha: Kyoka!

Kyoka is the newest character available in Priconne Global. A "tiny honor student" who can very quickly dispatch the Front-most enemy with her magic attacks. She's able to buff her own Magic Attack for her first few attacks and Skill use to provide her party with an incredible amount of upfront damage. However, she suffers from a lack of tankiness due to her Magic DPS role and can benefit from having characters to increase her Action Speed and allow her to use her Union Burst faster.

Kyoka is an amazing character for Magic-based parties such as the "Mage Melt" party and will provide one of the highest upfront magic attack skillsets for a significant time. Her UB activation time is relatively slow due to being positioned well into the Back position and because of this, she pairs well with characters like Monika who can increase party Action Speed. As with pretty much all Magic-based characters, she suffers from a low innate durability and against enemies that can target either her (e.g. due to magic threat or Back-targeting) she will be difficult to keep alive. Characters that can Taunt or Recover HP such as Nozomi or Kuka can be good party members for Kyoka.

Kyoka is only available through the Gacha at this time and is expected to be available as part of the overall Gacha pool permanently after her banner. In the future, Kyoka's Character Shards will be available as a Hard Mode Stage drop. As a 3* character, she will be a difficult recruitment after her banner ends, so pulling for her now is recommended!

Focus Gacha: Ayane!

Ayane is the newest character available in Priconne Global. She is a "little cub" who can forcibly disrupt the enemy Front by pushing back the front-most character a significant amount. She also offers a very early group AoE stun with her Skill 1 that can delay enemy UB’s and actions. When used correctly, this can allow PvP teams to attack an opponent's Midguard for a significant period.

Ayane is a good supportive front character but she is not a tank, pairing well with other Fronts like Nozomi, Miyako, and Jun. Her Skill 1 allows her to group stun the enemy Vanguard, which can both delay enemy UB's and allow your team perform more actions during a battle. Her Skill 2 is a physical defense shred, which can help enable Front-targeting damage dealers like Shiori or Suzuna, but this defense shred is significantly less than the go-to Makoto's shred.

Ayane is only available through the Gacha at this time. In the future, Ayane's Character Shards will be available as a Battle Arena Shop purchase. As a 2* character, she will also be a fairly easy recruitment even after her banner ends. If a player wants to recruit Ayane ASAP, they will want to pull her now. However, there's no rush and she will eventually hop out of the pool at some point for everyone!
