"Can you help her find the perfect present?!"

Overview

"Hatsune's Perfect Present" is Priconne Global's first major event featuring new story content and quests revolving the antics of Hatsune and Shiori! During the events, players will complete quests similar to a Main Story Quest map that will allow them to farm equipment and Character Memory Shards for the two featured characters.

This is a great opportunity to farm Character Shards to recruit Hatsune and Shiori if a player has been unable to pull them from the Gacha. In addition, the gems from clearing story mode will be significant and a great boost for player's reserves. Players who did pull Hatsune or Shiori from the Gacha and have also been collecting Shards for them from Princess Arena Shop or Hard Mode respectively will most likely be able to ascend them at least once from this event!

The overall approach to this event is straightforward, exhaust each Reward Box of the rewards you want (Character Shards, Jewels, and Divine Amulets for me) and then reset the Box and collect the rewards again.

Quest fights are surprisingly difficult for the first event, even with using various Lv75 characters with ascensions. I had to use a more defensive team than I was expecting to have to use. Ultimately, I cleared all quests (Normal/Hard) with the following: Hatsune 3*, Shiori 2*, Mitsuki 3*, Yukari 3*, and Nozomi 4* (Lv75 Rank 7 with 5 Max Equipments). The hard version of the boss was cleared using Yui 3*, Shiori 3*, Kokkoro 2*, Nozomi 4*, and Miyako 3* with decent success at getting a one round clear.

02-18-2021: After some discussion on /r/Priconne, it looks as those this event does scale with Player Level, this means that the event quests may be harder for those that are both higher-level and with lesser-equipped characters. As the hard boss is capped at Level 50, it does seem like higher-leveled players will have an easier go at one-rounding the boss than lower-leveled players as a tradeoff. Thanks to the great discussion for bringing this to light!

Rewards

The major event rewards are as follows - depending on RNG, a player may receive less Shards:

  • About 2,000 Free Jewels from clearing the event story quests and assuming a player collects Jewels from the Reward Boxes.

  • At least 145 Hatsune Character Memory Shards from all event and story content rewards, reset rewards from Reward Boxes, quest clear rewards, and an average of 50% drop rate on hard mode event clears (9 runs per day). 02/19: apparently folks are reporting this rate may be lower than 50%, downwards to 30%, results may vary.

  • At least 130 Shiori Character Memory Shards from all event and story content rewards, reset rewards from Reward Boxes, quest clear rewards, and an average of 50% drop rate on hard mode event clears (6 runs per day from event and 3 runs per day from regular hard mode maps). 02/19: apparently folks are reporting this rate may be lower than 50%, downwards to 30%, results may vary.

In addition, the event will feature maps that drop equipment pieces, which can also help character progression due to the simultaneous level cap increase. I am personally clearing event quest 1-15 to collect some gold equips in prepartion for Rank 7-8'ing my characters.

Recommendations

I fully recommend full clearing this event (3 Star all quests, collect at least the reset rewards from Reward Boxes, and do all missions)! The rewards are great and a potential recruitment/ascension for Hatsune will be a massive power boost for parties. Shiori is also a great character for both PvP and story content.  Additionally, as this is Priconne Global's first major event, it's a pretty cool time to enjoy the game!

The actual enemies and bosses are surprisingly difficult. I do recommend going into fights with a more defensive team rather than just expecting to plow through the content with pure offense. As each boss takes a decent amount of Stamina per attempt, tailoring your team to do either 100% of the boss' health or ~60% of the boss' health (i.e. two attempts per kill accounting for the half-health rage power spike) will be critical for success.

Best of luck!
