Various terms used in Priconne

Combat-related Terms:

 
Absorption Barrier
Absorbs the type of damage and restores it as HP.
Action Restrictions
Prevent characters from taking any action. Examples: Bind, Freeze, Paralyze, Sleep, and Stun.
Action/Attack Speed
The time between character actions.
Back
Also referred to as the Rearguard, represents characters that are positioned in the rear of the party.
Barrier
Prevents a type of damage (physical/magical). Two types: Absorption Barrier and Null Barrier.
Blind
Increases the chance for physical attacks to miss. Magic damage cannot miss.
Boost/Buff
Increases a particular combat stat.
Damage Over Time (DoT)
Statues that cause characters to take damage over time. Examples include: Burn, Curse, and Poison.
Darkness
Dramatically reduces the accuracy of physical attacks, Skills, and Union Bursts.
EX Skill
The final skill unlockable by a character. Is a passive ability that activates at the start of battle and is usually a buff.
Fear
Prevents a character's TP from increasing when they attack, use Skills, or defeat enemies.
Field
An area of the map that inflict various debuffs.
Front
Also referred to as the Vanguard, represents characters that are positioned in the front of the party.
HP Recovery/Heal/Restore HP
Increases a character's current HP level by a set amount, cannot 'crit' for additional healing.
Invincible
Prevents all damage.
Lower [X]
Also known as 'Shred,' lowers an enemy's combat stats.
Mage Melt
A PvP team centered around using magic damage characters to quickly wipe the enemy team, usually features Io, Anna, Hatsune, Akari, etc.
Middle
Also referred to as the Midguard, represents characters that are positioned in the center of the party.
Midguard
Also referred to as the Middle, represents characters that are positioned in the center of the party.
Null Barrier
Prevents the type of damage.
Rearguard
Also referred to as the Back, represents characters that are positioned in the back of the party.
Rino Cannon
A PvP team centered around recharging Rino to wipe the enemy team usually comprised of Lima, Yukari, Mitsuki, Rino, and Yuki).
Saren Fan
A PvP team centered around Saren and Ninon. Saren recharges Ninon's UB which allows for rapid wiping of the enemy team.
Silence
Prevents characters from using Skills or Union Bursts. Characters will instead use their normal attack.
Skill 1 / Skill 2
A character's first two unlockable non-Union Burst attacks. The final passive skill is called "EX Skill."
Summon
Creates a new sprite on the field that has certain effects (e.g. Shinobu).
TP Boost
Increases the rate of TP generation.
TP Drain
Drains an enemy's current TP level, delaying their Union Burst.
TP Recovery
Increases a target's TP level, hastening their Union Burst.
TP Regen
Determines the amount of TP received after a wave in a battle. Does not apply to Dungeons or Clan Battle as they are considered "one wave."
TP Retain
Determines the amount of TP remaining after UB usage.
Taunt/Provoke
Forces enemies to attack the taunting target (e.g. Nozomi).
Transform
Changes the transforming target's sprite, causing additional effects.
Union Burst
A character's signature skill, featuring a cutscene, that heavily impacts the flow of battle.
Vanguard
Also referred to as the Front, represents characters that are positioned in the front of the party.

General Gameplay:

 
Arena Coins
A currency used in Priconne earned through Battle Arena success that is used in the Battle Arena Shop.
Ascension
A substantial stat boost to a character that can be unlocked using a certain amount Memory Shards.
Battle Arena
A game mode where players face off against other player's in a 5v5 character duel to earn Arena Coins.
Bond Level
A value representing a character's total Bond EXP, used to unlock additional Character Stories and Bond Stat Boosts.
Bond Stat Boosts
Stat increases unlocked through the increase of a character's Bond Level.
Character Level
Stat representing total EXP for a character. Determines maximum Union Burst / Skill Levels and general stats.
Characters
Screens for viewing character's Equipment, Character Level, Skill Levels, and Ascension progression.
Clan Battle
Currently unreleased in Priconne Global.
Daily Missions
A set of 13 missions completable through other systems that reward the player with Player EXP, Mana, and more.
Dungeon
A daily game mode where players face a series of mock PvP battles and a boss to earn Dungeon Coins, Mana, and more.
Dungeon Coins
A currency used in Priconne obtainable in the Dungeon game mode, used in the Dungeon Shop.
EXP Potion
Consumable items used to increase Character Level.
Equipment
An item that is usable by a character, upon completion of a Rank set, the characters Rank can be increased.
Equipment Piece
Also known as Equipment Shard, these represent a part of a piece of Equipment used for character Rank.
Equipment Shard
Also known as Equipment Piece, these represent a part of a piece of Equipment used for character Rank.
Gacha
A game feature where players spend Jewels (Premium Gacha) to obtain new characters or Memory Shards.
Grotto
A daily game mode that allows players to collect a large amount of Mana and EXP Potions.
Guildhouse
A social game mode where players decorate a personal space. Also generates resources passively.
Home
Main screen for Priconne.
Mana
A primary currency in Priconne, used in purchasing items, refining equipment, and leveling skills.
Mana Exchange
A game feature where players can exchange Jewels for Mana and a chance Divine Amulets and Memory Shards.
Memory Shard
A fragment of a character's memories, in-game is used for Character Ascension.
Menu
Game options, in which players can change various game features and link their accounts.
Normal Gacha
A free game feature where players receive a set of 10 random equipment pieces and/or Memory Shards.

A game feature where players can collect in
Princess Arena
A game mode where players fight other players in a series of three 5v5 battles to earn Princess Coins.
Princess Arena Coins
A currency used in Priconne earned from Princess Arena success that is used in the Princess Arena Shop.
Quests
The Main Story Quests in Priconne, completing these will advance the narrative and unlock additional content.
Rank
A stat determined by a character's equipment. Is increased by equipping a set of specific pieces.
Refinement
The process of using Mana and Refinement Crystals to increase the rarity of Equipment its stat boosts.
Sanctum Survey
Currently unreleased in Priconne Global.
Shops
A collection of shops where players exchange certain currencies for Memory Shards, Equipment Pieces, and more.

A guild in Priconne.
Landosol
Astraea's largest nation, which shares its name with the capital city.
Little Lyrical
An unofficial guild in Priconne.
Pudding
Fan name for "Miyako," a character who is commonly known for always talking about pudding.
Sarendia Orphanage
A guild in Priconne.
Tower of Sol
A tower that is in Landosol.
Twilight Caravan
A guild in Priconne.
